Differently-abled
students in Odisha would henceforth be entitled to pursue technical
education in government as well as private institutions free of cost.
This was announced by the state government on Monday, revealed a press
communiqué from the chief minister’s office.
Though
there is no need for these students to pay any admission/tuition
charges in government institutions, the state government would reimburse
the fees paid by these students in private colleges and universities.
The state government would reimburse the fees based on the decisions of
the fee committee, revealed the release.
