Tabuk Gov. Prince Fahd bin Sultan handed over the keys of three cars
specially designed for people with special needs to the guardians of the
beneficiaries at his office on Monday.
IN THE SERVICE OF THE NATION: Tabuk Gov. Prince Fahd bin Sultan distributes keys of specially designed vehicles for the physically challenged children. The Ministry of Social Affairs has supplied 52 such vehicles for parents of special needs children in the region.

In the first phase of the scheme, 52 cars will be distributed to people with special needs.
Asaad Abu Hashim, director of total rehabilitation center in Tabuk, was also present at the event.
The prince was briefed on the special features of the cars.
Abu Hashim said all qualified applications for cars submitted by people with special needs have been accepted and cars will be supplied to them.
The cars have been designed to suit the nature of the disability of each applicant, he said. “All safety precautions for such people have been incorporated in them.” he said.
Priority in the first phase of the distribution has been given to those who suffer severe disabilities, those who have more than one case of disability in the family and also those who are living in locations far away from the city.
He said 225 cars will be distributed in the next phase. During the occasion, the guardians of the people who received the cars thanked
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for ordering the distribution to help the people with special needs and their families.
