Is there any greater proof of a mother’s love for her child?
Pictures of an elderly woman caring for her son right up to her death at a reported 101 years old have gone viral on the Internet.
The woman was thought to be from Malaysia.
The pictures were posted on the Facebook page Digos Good Vibes, showing Meliah Md Diah taking care of her physically challenged son, 63.
The pictures have subsequently been liked more than 36,000 times and shared more than 16,000 times.
The piece was captioned: ‘She is 101 years old and still takes care of her disabled son who’s 63. A mother’s love is just priceless.’

One Facebook user wrote: ‘A mother’s unconditional love for her child is countless, priceless, and forever ’til their last breath.’
Other media reports suggested sadly that the mother has now passed away.
Although it cannot be verified, one relative told reporters that she was caring for her son right up to to the moment she died.

Niece Siti Jaleha Yunus said that despite having health problems of her own, the loving centenarian called to be taken to her son, Abdul Rahman, to spend her last few minutes with him.
Abdul cannot walk or talk.
