Applications are invited for unemployment assistance for differently abled persons in the district.
A
monthly assistance of Rs. 300 for those with an educational
qualification of class X or below; Rs. 375 for higher secondary pass;
and Rs.450 for graduates and post graduates will be paid for 10 years.
Those
seeking assistance for the quarterly period of October 1, 2013 to
December 31, 2013 should have registered with the district employment
exchange for not less than a year as of September 30, 2013.
The applicant must not be more than 40 years of age for general category and 45 years of age for Adi Dravidar and scheduled castes, as of September 30. There is no income proof.
The applicant must have an account with ECS facility in a nationalised bank. Applications may be procured from the department for differently-abled welfare.
Further, the applicant must produce a proof of not having availed of any other welfare assistance.
Applications
shall be enclosed with proof of education and age along with a copy of
differently-abled identity card, employment exchange identity card, and a
copy of bank passbook. The last date for submission of forms is
November 29, 2 p.m. Applications could be collected on all working days,
except on Saturdays.
