Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday, PAB-K-P President Qarid Saad Noor said they were disappointed with the government for not organising sports activities for the disabled.

“Sports Minister Mahmood Khan and concerned authorities do not listen to us and did not even help organise a programme at Nishtar Hall,” he said. In the presence of other  association members, Noor maintained that “Both local and national institutions concerned with dealing with visually-impaired people are taking players in cricket teams at various levels who do not qualify in the category.”

He added that a case in point is the 2% quota in civil service jobs for the disabled.
