At least 586 working places for disabled people were created in Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Social Development Ministry informed.

According to its data, quotas for disabled persons were approved within the implementation of the Rights and Guarantees of Disabled law. According to the regulatory act, employers have to create working places for this category of citizens.

State Employment Service bodies develop with participation of public organizations for disabled, local government bodies and local state administration assert standards on assignement of quotas of working places in the amount of not less than 5 percent of disabled from a number of workers (if there are not less that 20 workers). At the same time they are permitted to provide them with part-time work.

The majority of working places (112) were provided in Talas province, then Osh province (96) and Jalal-Abad province (85). Quotas amounted to 84 quotas in Osh and 75 – in Bishkek. The rest of provinces have the following quotas: 24 working places in Chui province, 14 – in Naryn and only 2 vacancies in Issyk-Kul province.

Disabled of the 3rd group have an opportunity to use services of authorized employment bodies.
