MLA of Keishamthong Assembly Constituency Laisom Ibomcha distributed a
sum of Rs.1000 each as pension to 144 differently-abled people of his
constituency in a function held at the office of Parents' Association
for Disabled Persons, Keishamthong here today.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ibomcha said that he has been working for quite a long time to start a social benefit scheme for the differently-abled people.
The pension scheme would benefit them to some extent.
He also assured that new pipeline would be laid at Keishamthong Constituency with assistance from PHED to ensure proper tap water supply.
