Handicapped Welfare Mission, Manipur would distribute ‘Bravery
Incentive Award-2013 to eight physically challenged persons for
recognition of their courage and dedications to the public.
According
to a release the Bravery Award would be distributed on November 8 at
the office of IHWEM at Moidangpok in connection with closing function of
15 days long 18th Anniversary of the Mission. The award will be given
to the 4 physically challenged couples who showed exemplary courage and
they were identified as Yendrenbam Thoi and her husband Yendrenbam
Radheshyam Singh of Haobam Marak Chingtham Leikai, Imphal, Irengnei
(Anei) Chiru and her husband Momo Tontanga of Kambong Khunou village,
Chandel, Thiyam Radhamani and her husband Thiyam Basanta Singh of
Heingang Panthoibi Lampak and Naorem Liklaleima Devi and her husband
Naorem Balesware Singh of Sagoltongba Mamang Leikai.
The selected awardee will be presented gift, citations and cash and which will be attended by MLA, K. Sharat Singh and Padmashree Laishram Nabakishore, the release added.
