New Campus of Maharaja Agrasen University : Delhi

Catering to the needs of students in Himachal Pradesh, Maharaja Agrasen Technical Educational Society, the sponsor of Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU), is setting up a campus in the Solan district near Baddi.

"The state government of Himachal Pradesh has accorded great importance to education, particularly higher technical and professional education. The state government created a hub at village Kallujhanda in the name of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to facilitate setting up of many private universities. That is where the university will be set up so that it is easily accessible from Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and also from Delhi. This way, the university can cater to the needs of technical and professional education of students from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Uttarakhand," says Nand Kishore Garg, chancellor, Maharaja Agrasen University.
