Ability of Disability — A Night of Melody, an event that will showcase
performances by singers and artistes who are physically challenged, is
being held on June 28. The event will also have performances by various
singers including Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant. The musical event is
organized by Her Highness Sheikha Arwa Al Qassimi and the proceeds will
help Sight savers in its vision to eradicate avoidable blindness and
provide equal opportunities for persons with visual impairments.
Sight savers has been working in India since 1966 on eye health and has
reached out to over 35 million people. This event will be held at
Ravindra Natya Mandir, SayaniMarg, Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
