Role of the educated in taking information on
rehabilitation and welfare programmes of the government to the
differently abled persons, who are mostly illiterates, is imperative,
said District Differently Abled Rehabilitation Officer K. M. Kanagaraj.
Inaugurating
a capacity building programme for the differently abled persons at the
Gandhigram Rural Institute here on Sunday, he said many differently

getting government aid.
Differently abled persons
should also provide necessary information and the type of problems they
face to government officials to enable them to process their
applications quickly, he advised.
