Polio vaccines were administered to 64,047 children on Day 4 of the polio immunisation drive in the district on Wednesday. 
The health department teams visited 1,44,131 houses in the district and children up to five years were administered polio drops.
According to the civilsurgeon's office, a total of 1,587 teams were deployed for administering
 polio drops to children in the district. The drive will conclude on 
Thursday. 
A total of 2,95,794 children have been vaccinated in four days during
 the drive. Dr Sanjeev Hans, district immunisation officer, said the 
teams had to administer polio drops to 3.85 lakh children during the 
drive.
