He is a twenty-two-year-old born
physically challenged youngster. He is a lone son to his parents. His
father became alcoholic addict as he could no more care for his
physically challenged son. His mother was sustaining the family by
working as daily wager. His grandfather began teaching him lessons. In
spite of him not attending any classes, he loved his studies. He began
to write articles and began to read stories and novels. He became
fluent in English and Hindi. He had a great ambition of appearing for
SSLC exam.
Yashwanth
The physically challenged Yashawant is
glued to wheel-chair who borrowed old books of students, in order to
fulfill his aspiration to appear for SSLC exam. He was about to lose
interest, when some one told him about Spoorthidhama Rehabilitation
Center, Koteshwar. He pestered his mother to drop him at the Center,
and now became an inmate here. The Center is preparing him in order to
appear for SSLC exam in next year.
He is none other than Yashawant, hailing
from Toremavu village that comes under the limits of Nanjanagod in
Mysore district. His father is Radhakrishna. He is now sheltered at
Spoorthidhama along with his mother Sudharani and undergoing training to
appear for his dream to pass SSLC exam.
