The J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) is going to sponsor J&K
Cricket Association for Deaf (JKCAD) team for the upcoming National Deaf
T20 Tournament.
The 2nd T20 National Cricket tournament of the Deaf organised by All India Cricket Association of the Deaf is scheduled to be held at Mumbai from April 30 to May 4.
To facilitate JK team’s participation the event, JKCA headed by Dr Farooq Abdullah has come forward to help JK Deaf team.
“We are the members of JKCAD and team are thankful JKCA and its President Dr Farooq Abdullah for sponsoring our trip to Mumbai. It is great gesture on part of premier cricket body of the State to help our team, “said JKCAD, General Secretary , Imran Khan.
“As we were not in position to participate in the event on our own. We requested JKCA which readily accepted our request on the instance of its President, Dr Farooq Abdullah,” he added.
