Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta deputy director Mutyam Rao on Thursday conducted an inquiry into the allegation of sexual harassment
of visually challenged girl students at Space Blind School in
Hanamkonda town. Mutyam Rao visited Warangal on the direction of
Lokayukta Justice Subhashin Reddy. He called on Thasildar Jannu Sanjeeva
and inspector of police G Venkateshwara Babu for inquiry. Physically
handicapped department assistant director Swamy and Child Rights Forum
chairperson Mamtha Raghuveer presented reports on the sexual harassment.
tnnMutyam Rao and other officials visited the blind school and
questioned the school in-charge Bandaru Shobha. The officials tried to
get information from teachers, but they were not available.
