Four new polio cases reported : PESHAWAR

Four new polio cases were reported from different areas of Pakistan as this year total cases have reached to 53 in the country.


According to the National Laboratory Cell twelve months old Rahmat Ullah s/o Yar Muhammad resident of UC 4, Gadap town, Karachi, twelve months old Bushra D/O Abdullah resident of Hindi Khel, village Toor Khel , FR Bannu as the child did not receive a single dose, while 12 months old male child Tufail s/o Nasir Shah resident of Mirdad Khel , village Haji Qabil Kalay Piran Khel , tehsil Landi-Kotal as the child also did not receive a single dose.


The fourth case was reported from Swabi as two months old Nazeefa D/O Zia-ul-Haq resident of UC Baja, Mirm and Banda Swabi who did not receive a single dose as well.


It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan was fighting for the crippling polio disease as in previous year 58 cases of polio were reported while up to October this year 53 cases of polio have been reported all over the country.
