chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would inaugurate the newly
constructed Mental Health Care Centre, Industrial Training Centre and a
school for mentally retarded children at Faridabad on October 27.
An official spokesman said on Thursday that the construction work of these three buildings have been completed in a period of just over one year with the financial assistance of various social welfare organization of the district. He said that with the setting up of these centres, the mentally retarded children of the district would get better facilities of education, health and industrial training which would enable them to be self reliant when they join the mainstream of life.
The spokesman said that the chief minister would also lay the foundation stone of three bridges to be constructed by irrigation department over Gurgaon Canal in front of sector-29, 17 and 14. Later, Hooda would also address a public meeting to be organized by MLA, Faridabad Anand Kaushik.
