The 25th All India Cricket Association for physically challenged cricket tournament kicked off on Sunday at Marine Drive’s Police Gymkhana ground. In the tournament, almost 25 teams across the country are participating. Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan inaugurated this tournament on Sunday.
On this occasion, CM Chavan highly spoke about the dreadful drought condition in the state. He also requested people to come forward and to lend a helping hand to the drought affected people. According to Chavan, these tournaments should be organised in the state on a very grand manner. Chavan also asked BCCI to help the physically challenged cricketers and their cricket.
Maharashtra CM also enjoyed playing cricket here after the inauguration.

LIC President's XI clinch cricket title
LIC President's XI today beat ONGC West Zone by 49 runs to clinch the LIC Trophy cricket tournament for the physically challenged.
The winners qualified directly, but there was a triple tie among the other teams which was resolved on the basis of run rate.
ONGC West Zone emerged with the best run rate of 1.
